toyota is not so expensive in maintenance,but honda is AWESOME.

OF course both are good. Some Honda's often accelerate faster than Toy's.
Some early Honda/ Acura ( ~ +- 1999, 2002..) transmissions have problems as they go out at 100k miles or less.

Neither ones really better, it's more preference between those two. They both make reliable and efficient cars. Honda though offers a little bit more of a "sporty" line of cars like the Civic SI and the V6 Accords for example. My choice would be Honda since well....I own a Honda.
