I love my Fossil purse but it's bulky and stuff tends to end up in the bottom of it. It was heavy when I picked it up today, so I decided to dump it out to see what was in there...and it occurred to me that it would make a really good archaeological dig.
Here's some of what was in it:
driving glasses
reading glasses
hairbrush
scrunchie
make up bag (mascara, eyeliner, etc.)
asthma inhaler
tape measure
Cinnamon Altoids
checkbook with ID
15 assorted receipts and deposit slips
ads for canning supplies and check printing
last Thursday's local paper
electric company newspaper
notebook & pen
Kleenex
keys and pepper spray
cell phone
9 Cash Saver coupons
$4 in cash
3.50 in quarters
1.00 in dimes
.35 in nickles
.21 in pennies
No wonder my purse was heavy with all that stuff in it!
(.....and by the way, why have I never before noticed that there is a quarter for American Samoa? Surely there must be quarters for Puerto Rico and Guam that I've never seen?)
So (as the TV ad says) what's in your wallet?
