...toyota avalon? I was low on powersteering fluid so is decided to add some... it went a little over the maximum line and now im scared to drive it... Please help... Ppl with car experience only please...

just a little overrule should not hurt anything.if its way overfull it could leak on to the exhaust and start fire.just take something such as a turkey injector and draw some out if you are wo rried

Well luckily you can't over fill those very much , what I'd do is try forcing the extra fluid out , try using your fingers to do this or get a anti-freeze tester or some kind of device and use it to suck the extra out.

Hope that helps and best of luck.

Nothing will happen other than it 'could' just flow over some and make a mess. YOU WILL NOT DO ANY DAMAGE to the system whatsoever. Just drive it and look at it the next day. If there's no wet spillage don't worry about it. If so, a cheap turkey baster from the grocery store works good to suck some fluid out. No biggy.

(This is only true for power steering. Never overfill motor oil or transmission fluid)

It may build up too much pressure and cause your seals to leak.Get something like a battery tester with a rubber bulb on it so you can remove the extra fluid.
