...gospel message has been hidden? When everyone finds out that the ancient leaders of organized religion (pharisees) left out and covered up a vital portion of the true worship ritual and by doing so "cut off the flock on the way out the gate" in order to fleece the flock. What will happen when I say the missing link is called "mystic communion", It reveals the inner meaning of the gospels? What Now?
maybe you've heard of the "divine manna" of Moses? I'm saying there is an inner message within the gospels that requires an "awakening" before it can be interpreted. God who created all things, even created something for this purpose, because God wants you to know, because there are no secrets. There is only truth and your ability to see it and interpret it as such or not.
 
The key to msg of Jesus is "I"

Unilluminated foolish ppl in church replaced "I" of every person to "I" of Jesus making Jesus a supreme equal to God & an object of worship,

whereas Jesus simply meant that every person should inquire himself/herself about the "I" and try to find the truth.

Therefore when it was written
"I am the only way to the truth and eternity" actually it should have been :

"I is the only way to the truth & eternity,"

This the teaching of most Indian teachers and especially of the Buddha.

Due to this error , entire bible becomes doubtful, dogmatic, useless and a piece fit for the bin.
