right now the 360 is better in terms of cost, games, and the online component. (even though you have to pay for it, its really well maintained)

Depends.
I Mayself own both the PS3 And 360. Mainly FPS games are use on the 360 everything else for the PS3. Right now your best bet is the 360 cause of all the exclusives it has while the PS3 has just a few.

ps3 is more powerful though. Graphic and performance wise. That guy is just a 360 fanboy.
360 has better online game and fun though lol
oh and 360s blow up in your face sometimes lool naw but they overheat apparently.
