Whats better Twilight or Harry Potter (book wise)?

I personally prefer harry potter but then twilight has its own imagination. Me personally, I don't really like twilight but then if you need a book wise answer, I would say that Twilight is interesting in a way where Vampires blend in with humans and how it happens to create a sort of internal conflict inside the protagonist.

Harry Potter in the other hand is interesting in a way where Voldemort killed Harry's parents, therefore planting a grudge inside Harry's individual. This sort of man vs man conflict is most interesting when colored with such plot twists and additional internal conflicts.

I still prefer Harry Potter though. :)
 
What would you say thats better Twilight or Harry Potter, I personally like Twilight better, but I used to love Harry Potter. Iv'e read all the books for both series about 20 times each! What about you?

i liked Twilight (especially the first book), but i prefer Harry Potter. there's much more.. i don't know, excitement or something like that.

Twilight is a good book, but why do people always compare it to Harry Potter? they're both completely different books from completely different genres.
they are both great books, excellently written and have won millions of fans. i don't think it's fair for either of them to be compared to each other. but that's just my opinion though, so please don't get offended..
 
Harry Potter all the way. I read the Twilight and found it rather boring and I really didn't like the way it was written. I'm not a romance fan and I couldn't relate to any of the characters. Bella was unlikable and so was Edward, so I couldn't get into it. Harry Potter has more action and the characters have more depth and overall I find the series much, much better and absorbing.
 
Lets put it this way - saying twilight is a bunch of $hit is basically a compliment to the series. Twilight is lower than the level two girls one cup, and if you've ever seen that video you will know how bad i feel twilight is. Harry potter is better but it still isn't very good. I know what i'm saying. I read alot of books and i couldn't even finish twilight. It has to be the most poorly written piece of $hit i have ever seen.
 
I prefer Harry Potter, I find the characters more interesting, the stories more exciting, and there is more humour in the books. But I quite enjoyed Twillight, especially the first book.

Harry Potter long term, it's got better characters, a better more complex plot, it was largely unpredicatable and written very well. Twilight saga i loved straight away but after the excitement of it died down a little bit i realised that it isn't as good as i first thought, i still like it though. =D
 
ive recently finished the harry potter series and i had forgotten how good they were. as for twilight series,i got to the second one and got bored, but i did like the first one. its better than the film anyway.
