Whats better the htc desire or legend?

I would like a straight forward answer as I am really stuck. It does not make a difference to me, I will not be using them for different things for example. I can get 300mins, unlimited texts, 500mb data, free phone with vodaphone, for the legend, 20 pounds a month, or htc desire black, exactly the same things, however 80 pound for the phone. Which would you advise? Both a two year contract, looking at the service provider as well? Thanks.
 
I got the HTC Hero Android, best phone in my opinion, after loads of research between the other HTC models, and other phones. Mine is on orange, 40 quid a month, 1200 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited internet (it really is, I used this bad as a modem for my laptop, I get speeds of up to 4 meg and downloaded 6 Gigabytes so far in 2 weeks)

But it's all about preference and taste. I suggest asking for a try of each one in the shop.
