whats better honda civic or toyota corolla?

I got a toyota corolla but my friends keed telling me that honda civics are way better . I wanna know y honda civics are better
 
its a matter of preference by which company you like better, both are great cars.

but i have to give the civic this one.

why?

because i own a civic......and have drove a corolla.

resale value is good... if not better than the corolla.
mileage is awesome in the 30-40's mpg.
smoother ride my opinion over the corolla.
 
The Toyota Corolla is number 1 selling car in WORLD!! way better then Honda as engine has half of moving parts and doors are 1 weld as well as many other places. They get better MPG with standard engine and with XRS get a lot more power then Civic. 178 Hp and 154 torque which si does not touch. they hold better resale and are cheaper, bigger, and more reliable. New 09 gets 38MPG average. New si costs 30k while XRS is 26,000. S or LE are 16-19000 loaded while Civic is 18000 -22000.
 
Honda civic is better. the engine is more reliable, gives you less maintenance, the quality of the interior is higher, the suspension is better, and the accessories are also better.
