Fish oil contains omega 3. But you can get omega 3 from other sources as well, f example flax seeds. But you also have omega 6, and omega 9, I think. And GLA which is also good for you.
As stated above, fish oil contains omega 3. You can get omega 3 from a few sources, including flax and a certain type of algae. I use the algae oil because it is what the fish eat in order to get their omega 3. I also don't have to worry about the heavy metals contained in fish.
