Whats a PSP 3000 and whats better/different about it?

It's a type of PSP (I can work out that much out), but what's better/different about it??
 
its got a mic and ive heard you can send it in to sony and they will make it into a phone plus its got a glare resistent screen
 
First of all it is the newest psp model. It has all the features of the previous models plus some more really cool ones.

Battery life very slightly decreased
