I've just started a relationship with a new girl and she has been much more sexually active than I have. I guess there really isn't a "polite" way to ask this, but what would be a good way to bring up that I'd like her to get tested for STI's. She's a bit younger than me, and was very active several years ago, and I kinda figured that the younger you are, the more likely you are to have made silly mistakes.
edit: I do agree with the logic of getting tested myself, however, I am a virgin. She does know this, so it would seem kind of silly for me to offer to get tested as well. I have been vaccinated and tested for hepatitis A and B a few years ago. So I'm not sure if she can get anything from me. Should I just offer to go down to the clinic with her?
