HI, i am looking for a phone that has a good video recording quality.
i have the samsung d900 which has a 3.15mp camera...but the video sucks
i use to have the w810i, although its only 2mp it was good quality, but i didn't like the looks of it...
if anyone can post what phones they have or can suggest for a good quality video recording phone.

thanks

Actually the D900 video quality is better than the w810..

The nokia 6233 and N93 support VGA (640 x 480)
But keep in mind the N93 supports 30fps, as does the sony ericsson w900, but only in QVGA format (240 X 320)

hmm.i don't understand this vga or qvga format thing...i just noticed when i do the videos from d900 at night time or when its dark...its blurry where as w810i is clearer..thats from what i can remember from my w810i...
so you would suggest keeping my d900?
cause i was planning on selling/trading my d900 for a better video quality phone.

vga=better than qvga in short. vga is referring to the resolution of the screen on the phone. so the n93 has clearer screen than w900i...understand now!!
Well i would go for a n93 if you have the cash...

The OP was asking what phone would be good for recording video. Where did I say that I was comparing the screen resolution to that of the N93?!

HE was just simply telling him what QVGA vs VGA meant.
He never said you were comparing the screen resolution

And if my memory serves me right, the w900 an d N93 have the same screen res.

Well, since you stated the D900 is quadband, and you need 850MHz, then I'd still keep it. It's still a nice phone. If having 850MHz is important for you, then you might want to skip the W900i. Otherwise, it would be a big paperweight for a phone.

Thanks break-r for clearing that up.
