What's a good starter BMX bike.?

I want to get into BMX, but I don't know what kind of bike I should get. Since I'm starting I've asked my friends about it and they said, I should start off with a Red-line, Haro, Diamondback or something cheap from Walmart.
 
I've started to i have an eastern some of my friends who have started have FIT bikes others have GT bikes
i also have this X-Rated hustle bmx i use it for learning tricks :)

get something cheap if you are a beginner, but not too cheap you don't want to be getting a bike that weighs a tonne, :)

take your time choosing :)
by the way what is your price range?
