Whats a good starter bike?

Im 16 and ive had my liscense for a while and i want to get my motorcycle licsense. the liscense thing isnt a problem but i need an idea for a good starter bike. im 5'10" 160 pounds. I want a sport bike.
 
as a starter bike i would go for the kawasaki ninja 500.the 250cc motorcycles you would get tired real fast.i had the 250 ninja and it was slower then a snail.
 
I got a dirt bike cause my parents don't trust me enough yet to let me get my license. But I read lots on the internet, and if its your first bike definitely get a 250 ninja. Don't listen to others when they say the ninja 250 is a boring bike, it is an excellent bike and you can always buy one and sell it after you outgrow it. I don't know where you live but the bike is so popular here, on craigslist they are very difficult to find, and most dealerships only have a few of these if any.
