What's a good place to go fishing around Houston and Galveston?

Hey guys,
I'm kind of new to the fishing scene, last year I went fishing a few times in a pier in Galveston, but that pier was distroyed by hurricane Ike. I wanna go fishing tomorrow but I'm not sure what's a good place to go to, any suggestions?
