What's a good gym routine if I want to lose around ten pounds in a month?

I'm coming home from my freshman year of college, and I'm planning on going to the gym every weekday during the summer--if not EVERY weekday then at least 4 times a week. I've never been much of an exerciser but I really want to look good this summer and at the beginning of the school year. I'm 5'4", 150 pounds, and I would really like to get down to 140. What should I be doing at the gym (time/machine-wise) in order to lose this weight in a month? Do you think it'll be easier since I'm younger?
