Whats a good excuse to avoid visiting my in-laws?

The more creative the better. Its a 15 hour drive and I dont want to go.
Its a 30 hour round trip drive. I have two kids ages 4 and 7. My wife passed away 4 years ago and theyve never visited once. They also only call to borrow money. Just a little background.
 
say that you won the lotery and had a heart attack and are in the hospital
have someone else call for you and also if they want to come visit tell them no cuz they would figure it out
or say work
or say your sick

THE FIRST ONE MAY BE TOO EXTREME but ya
