What's a good color to paint my room?

I'm just looking for a good color to make the room a little more cozy and easier to sleep in. Also, is there a color that absorbs sunlight or something cause when I try to watch tv the sunlight reflects on it making the screen hard to see?

I would go with light blue. Any color wouldn't make a dif. with the tv. The sun shines though the window to your tv, obviously, so to fix that problem, put the tv in the opposite direction toward the window, or on a wall next to the window where the sun usually shines through. if not, you could always buy some thick curtains. that would block sunlight.

You don't need to necessarily go with a darker color on the wall. It could be that the paint on your wall is a high gloss paint. Choose a stain with a low sheen when you go to paint. Get paint chips from the store and tape them in different areas of your wall and check it at all different times of the day and also when it's dark outside. This way you can get a more accurate idea what the color will do in all different light. Many of the paint stores now sell little sample bottles of the paint so you can paint a small section on your wall too.
