My best friend's birthday is coming up and I want to get her a camera so she can finally do something with her love of photography that she could never embrace.
I know absolutely nothing about cameras, just that all the ones I've looked at are expensive for a group of unemployed teenagers!!!
What's a good quality shutter camera for a beginner that's not going to impossible for a small group of high school students to afford?
It doesn't really matter as to whether it's film or digital, as long as it's one of the fancy pants shutters and lenses ones (they probably have a special name, idk.) Anyways, that's what she's really had her eye on.
