Whats a fish that can live with a male betta in a 10 gallon?

Can you please name types of fish that only get about 2-3 inches big and can live with a male betta? I dont want to add 6 neon tetras or schooling fish because i have 5 ghost shrimp already with the betta and i think the waste they produce is going to be too much.
I only want to get 2 fishes max for my betta.
I also have a filter and heater and my tank is cycled.
 
Generally, bettas are placed in a tank by themselves as they are fighters. I know of no fish that are compatible with a betta. It is not the other fish, it is the betta who attacks.
