Hi my teacher gave me some summer assignements and I was hoping someone could explain them furthe to me. We had to read a book valled The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway.For this book we will have to keep a reading log and keep a dialectic response journal containing no less than 15 entries. What excatly is a dialectic response journal? Is it actually a journal where you can keep entries or would you just type it up in essay form. What format should I keep my reading log in? If someone can help me that would great! Please be as descriptive as possible! By the way I would like all of you to keep in mind that I am going intomy freshman year so I would to do an amazing job!
