I'm 18 and looking for an older Lexus for only a few grand. It will be a temporary car, and I will end up re-selling it. What are some reliable older models that are also decent-looking and comfortable?
es300 usually the cheapest and very reliable. i also agree with comment below me that your not going to find one that is only a couple thousand unless its like a 94' es 300 with 250k on it.

I've looked at prices in my local area, and I'd have to go back to early 1990's to get one for only few thousand bucks. And then you're looking at very well used cars. So I don't think it's worth getting a well used Lexus. I'd rather get one in late 90's, so it'd be a better car.
But I've found I can only consider almost 20 yr old Lexus to buy at that low a price.
