They are both really great schools for what you are looking at, but Boston has been considered as one of the best college towns in the entire country.
If you wont mind the crazy boston weather (and the frigid winters) go to Boston if you get in. Its probably a bit cheaper there and everything is fairly close. UCLA is in the upscale area of LA and its more expensive.
