Whats a better hdtv for gaming? Plasma, Lcd? v.ps3

I need to purchase a new tv for the bedroom and want one to be best geared towards hi def gaming. Im looking to get a 26 or 27", so 720p is fine.
What is better for gaming though? Plasmas or LCD?

I have the 32 inch Samsung of that model...it looks great. I would have liked two component and two hdmi but one component will work. Also I don't think plasma gets less than 40 inches.
 
thanks for replies. im tempted to snag a samsung, though the price is a bit more than id like, anyone saved money by ordering online?

I have the model below that one in the 32". It looks amazing. Resistance looks top notch so does GT HD. And the picture quality for HD televison is really good. Also has a game mode feautre to help keep your LCD in good shape.

Tweeter, and circuitcity told me that samsung makes great tv's for HD gaming beacause of that game mode feature. Sharp, LG, and Panasonic make great LCD but not suitable for gaming.

Ive also heard alot of bad things about Samsung though, so i hope my LCD is flawless .

My buddy works for Directv and he came to install my HD reciever and before i turned on my samsung he was telling me about how he never liked Samsung. But once he saw mine he was like oh snap not bad. Looks good. Havent seen a Samsung look this good.

Ps3 + samsung lcd FTW.
 
yeah, i agree.. i have a samsung, the blacks are much more washed out versus the bravia. i also have an issue with response time with the samsung playing games, comes out a just a few milliseconds too slow. playing beatmania is a nightmare on the TV. other than that samsung LCDs are a very close second or on top, depending on your budget.
 
I as well have the same model but with the newest upgrades and its a 32". I love this fuckin TV so much....crystal clear HD
