Whats a better exercise? Run or bike?

Right now, Im running/jogging one mile everyday. Im trying to loose a muffin top, what is better to help get rid? Ridingmy bike or running like I am?
 
I would be good just with running its better to run on grass then say on the road cause this can cause swelling in your knee after a long period of time (few weeks of running).

have you thought about swimming or rowing they are both better then running or riding cause they get your whole body moving.
 
Both are great. If I were you I would do a hour of both running and biking.
 
Either will help you get to where you want. However, you may need to bike at a higher intensity than you would running. On the other hand, biking is much better for your knees, and could possibly build your legs muscles more than running can. What I personally would do, is switch it up. Three days a week go biking instead. Try to find some slight hills to go up, use resistance, and go a lot farther. For me, I am much more likely to keep to a routine when I switch it up.
