Whatis this weird sound?

Well whenever we are hungry, often a strange sound comes out from our abdomen. What is it and why is it produced???
 
Motion known as peristaltic action makes the gas in the stomach move around, and you hear it as a rumble.
The air and gastric juices inside your stomach move around and cause the sound we are so use to as growling(rumbly in my tumbly)
