Hate poem No. 1
As you push up front,
Of the cue,
"2O Benson and Hedges,please,
Sweet-heart.."
Hate..
Face jewellery,
Life-story,
Tattooed-holiday,
Eye-bold,
Hand break turn,
Lotto-carded,
Bleak-soaked,
Hate...
A carpet-layer´s existence,
on your pet´s and acquaintances,
your descendants,
Your shirts,
Your-Hark!
Is that a chain-saw at work?
Ah!
Dismembered limbs describe a star,
Now!
The chisels jig!
Nimble as a cricket´s what´s-it,
And digits every-where...Hurrah!
A quick Jackson Pollock with the claret,
And what we have here,(M´Lord),
Is a work of art...
Your North-Norfolk-dialect:
("Blood of mucus..)
Your girl-friend-"Calmed me down,
As before I was a bit of a tear away,
Occasionally I-
Die!Die!Die!
(Sotto voce)
"O" God building a lodge,
David Baddiel hatred,
Quick change artist,
House builder,
There,there...
I witnessed a man and woman,
Walking quite open,
To the head of an airport check-in-cue..
They proceeded like no-one existed,
Themselves inclusive,
All avoided eyes,
While the guards took labels,
They did possess,however,
A vacuous beauty,
As opposed to us,
who were just vacuous...
As you push up front,
Of the cue,
"2O Benson and Hedges,please,
Sweet-heart.."
