I'm looking to buy a Toyota Celica, and I'm not sure which year would be the best buy. I've been looking at the 94-99 and the newer 00-01 but I'm not sure. (I'd hopefully be getting an automatic GT or GT-S) My friends are into the racing scene, so I need one that's got the looks, and of course the speed, although I doubt I'll be racing. It'd mostly be for work and school trips, just normal everyday type things. I've done some research but I'm not all that great at understanding the "lingo" quite yet, and I could really use another opinion, especially since I'm on a 7k budget.
