What would you do if your husband actually did this at a doctor's office?

My husband and I had the common flu that was going around. This was year before the swine flu scare started, so it wasn't that. We both had a really mild case. I'm in fairly poor health over-all so I called my doctor, who told me to take over-the-counter flu meds to deal with the symptms, rest and come in if it got worse, which it didn't.

My husband, on the other hand, insisted on going to the doctor, even though he is a young, very healthy guy. We had no insurance then, so we had to pay a 70.00 office fee. I drove him since he said he "was too weak to drive" the 3 blocks.

When we left the house he took his big pillow off our bed with him. I thought that was odd, but didn't say anything to him. When he took the pillow into the office with us, I to started wonder what on earth he was doing. When he took the pillow and laid down on the FLOOR of the office and asked me sign to in for him, I was shocked. When he started to moan and people were having to literally step over him to get to thier chairs, I was mortified. I leaned over and begged him to get up; at least set in the chair and stop moaning. When he then started to hold onto his stomach, moan AND whimper loud enough that the ENTIRE waiting room was staring at us, (some outright laughing or sneering) I moved a few seats over and tried to pretend I didn't know him. Actually, I wanted to leave him there, after first telling him what a big baby he was being!

Keep in mind, this was just a light case of the flu and we're talking about a grown man here! The nurse told the dr. that he was causing a scene so they called us back just to get him off the floor of the waiting room. (I know that, because the doctor pulled me aside on the way out and said that I needed talk to him about not doing that again and that he was greatly exageratting his symptoms.) The doctor didn't even give him any medications, just sent him home to rest, take fluids and Nightquil/Dayquil. He even said he could be cleared to go back to work in two days. He then threw a fit and said the doctor had a bad bed side manner and I was an uncaring wife. Four days later he went bowling with his buds, so how sick could he have been, really? lol What would you have done if your husband or boyfriend acted like this? And, yes, I swear this is a totally true story, every word.
