What would you do if it poured on the day of your wedding and you booked a

completely outdoor venue for the...? reception.

It's supposed to rain all day with thunder and lightening showers tomorrow. =[
We will be eating under a pavillion but still... =[

I would kick myself for being so unwise as to not plan ahead for a "rain option," such as a large tent or an alternative location.

Then I would call lots of tent companies to see if, by chance, they have what I need on such short notice. Unlikely, but possible if you call to many different places.

If all else fails, I would pray for good weather. (Seriously, I would.)

I would be happy that I thought ahead enough to find a venue that had a "Plan B".

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal as long as there is some kind of protection from the weather.

That wouldn't happen to me, as I had a plan B for my outdoor wedding. One always needs to have a plan B in case of rain/lightening!

If it is safe to be in that pavillion in the rain, lighteningwise, then I recommend you quickly make a lot of phone calls and see if you can get it tented.

i would be pissed at myself for not thinking about the fact that i have zero control over the wedding. and although its beautiful to have an outdoor wedding... you HAVE to plan for poor weather!!!

call all the tent rental companies around and/or any nearby venues to see if you can get inside somewhere...
