employees spit in food? What would you do after a media frenzy regarding your fast food restaurant after employees spit in food?

Basically a few employees spit in food and they recorded themselves, the video got public and the news media reported about it. What would you do? What would you after a press release? I was thinkign discounts to get sales back, but it's not a good idea to put discounts for something they did wrong. Then I would be promoting the spitting in a way... I need help.
