What would we do without Music

I would've paid more attention in school instead of listening to my headphones. I could've gone to University and made something of myself if it wasnt for Rock... damn you rock!

No, but I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a Native American flute. The only trouble is, they are expensive. A good, hand made cedar flute can be well over 200.00. There are synthetic ones that can be purchased for much, much less. I just don't think something as personal as that can be substituted, though.

If you don't like this topic than just stop posting on it because we don't need people messing up this thread.

So if you want to talk about what would happen than stay here but if you would rather cuss and not have fun at all than I would recommend that you don't post on my thread.

I'd imagine.

But rock was birthed from several genres, i think if other genres like the blues and jazz exsisted, rock n roll would be born eventually.

Oh sh*t! I forgot, you are the kid who hates cursing
That makes me love you even more!

If there were no rock, I would deal, and listen to polka.

What do you think we would do if Chuck Berry never invented rock and roll in 1955. I know there are other kinRAB of music to listen to but the thought of not having rock music just kills me because I basically am a rocker.

If you guys hadn't ever found out about Rock Music than what do you think you would do in your Music lives? :hphones:

Without rock, I'd just bump more rap and probly some jazz.

Yet another excelent insight from a Canadian homie-eh! I'll have to throw in my lot with the forum drunk. I'd probly be beatin' raw hide drums, playin' a flute, and kickin' a nutty dance in leather while passing the peace pipe!

Good call.

Awww, does your pussy hurt?

Why all the negative energy?

If rock had never been invented, we'd be left with what was there before rock, wouldn't we?

Jazz, Big Band, Blues, Classical, etc. Still plenty to choose from, and suff I listen to more than rock, anyway.

Personally, I'd go the route of Native American flute. It's very peaceful, and, if you let it, will lay right on your chest and seep into you.

That's true because people would eventually want to listen to a different type of music and that's exactly what would happen.

For example, one person could have like one rock song that they would always listen to, than alot of people would start to listen to that song, than there will be all tons of kinRAB of rock songs, than it will travel around the world and everyone would be infected with the LOVE OF ROCK.

I would invent rock if it didn't exist.

I really couldn't as I have about as much musical talent as a rusty spoon, but I guess that peoples lives would be very different. We would probably have no 'revolutions', just look what happened in the 60's, and that culture was based around music.

Well do tell you the truth...If certain things werent invented...we wouldnt miss them...mostly because its physically impossible...So i guess where im going is that if certain things werent invented i doubt that would change anything...music would progress in a completely different way
