What would make a 2005 Ford F150 5.4 4x4 sound good?

I want to put some pipes on my Ford F150 5.4 and Im not real sure what size tips and stuff to get. I want a deep sound but nothing redneck. People have told me to get dual straights with flowmaster but I don't know what size tips to get. Someone told me to get 4 inch tips but that sounds a little bit too big help me out if you can please
