What would happen to society if everyone was educated above Degree level?

I understand many people who work in public services actually choose to do types of work such as garbage collection or cleaning, but what if nobody wanted to do this type of work?

What would happen if society became so obsessed with education and everyone including all the working class people decided to take up degrees?

Would it be possible for everyone to become degree educated, what would happen if there was no one to do the working class jobs? Would the government put stricter guidelines on entrance requirements and ban university applicants from applying because of mundane reasons?
 
That type of education would become worthless, and the new precious education would be who can learn to wash dishes, and mow the lawn.
