What would happen if you were in a fire in a forest, surrounded by burning trees?...

...Would smoke blind you? And if the smoke did blind you, how long would it last? How much time would you have before you passed out from lack of oxygen?
Well, say you're in a tree, asleep. And someone sets fire to the tree and the trees around you... what would happen?
 
Umm...So there are buring trees around the forest that is on fire?????what????
