What would happen if you are in the army and you had a relationship w/ another soldier?

I mean a male and a female soldier obviously. Would they let you stay in the same unit or would they transfer one of you? Would it really matter if you didn't show any public display of affection? What is the policy on dating in the army or while you are over seas?
 
As long as you are both same rank and don't flaunt the relationship, they will look the other way.

Oh and make sure neither parties are married or that would lead to much bigger problems.
