What would happen if we limited Unemployment Benefits to 3 months?

Unfortunately, most of my experience is in purchasing, and with everyone cutting back, they're not hiring people to buy shit for them

It sucks knowing how much they blew each month on projects that never saw the light of day, and the let me go to save $40K/year oh well, their stock price reflects the management decisions

Not only that, but once you take a job outside your field and / or for less than your previous salary, you're pretty much fucked moving forward.

Not taking a job that pays shit right and / or is outside of your field now might actually PROTECT your future wage earning ability, ESPECIALLY in your field.

What kind of result do you think we would see? Honest question.

Would it motivate people to take jobs that are "beneath" them and increase productivity, or would people just riot, steal, and starve in the streets?

The reason is, I see a few unemployed people around me that are perfectly content sitting around waiting for a GOOD job to come up, and refusing to take an hourly gig to make a little money, since unemployment pays better. I wonder if folks these days are overestimating their value in the workforce.

Sorry, bro. I don't subscribe to your OT newsletter. Privatizing roaRAB is an insane idea. I'm sure any article that is pro-private roaRAB is going to originate from a really fantastic source.

You are going to take a large and sprawling country that is in the shitter right now, and start imposing tolls every x amount of feet? SounRAB like a solid idea.

What if a competitor wants to build a road? Are we going to have multiple streets side-by-side owned by different people?

How do we decide who owns these roaRAB? If your house is on someone else's road you would be at their mercy. With no government intervention, which you are also all for, the new road owner could gouge the fuck out of everyone.

Its an asinine concept. Get real.
