What would happen if I took my 1949 Chevy to school?

Times have changed, when I went to school, people would leave other peoples crap alone. I had a beautiful 64 buick skylark convertible that I would drive everyday to school. I would even leave the top down and it would be fine. however today, kids just don't care about other peoples stuff. They feel everything should be handed to them. I would not even temp fate with this one and take a different car to school. Or find a location close to your school where you can park it and you know it will be safe.

You see, I go to a High School and as such it may be a risk that I use it as my transportation. However, considering the circumstances (I can't park my 1964 Cadillac Coupe Deville because, with its body work) it's my only option. Would the strange styling of the color and shiny colors confuse and disorientate the minds of the children going there and cause them to attack my car? (I go a especially low tier school and its known for its gang violence). You think it would be safe to bring and park my car there or is it too risky?
