what would happen if i ate a sterile swab ?

like 3 of them ! my friends told me that she just had a crave to eat them and she did ! is it harmful ?

Sterile swab, do you mean by this a wooden Q-tip? Or a Q-Tip? If she swallowed them their may be a chocking problem but if she masticated well, then as in most things eaten. This too will pass.
 
Your head explodes in a bloody mess, spewing brain pulp all over the walls, then your body falls on the floor headless and ROFL's.
