What would cause this in a 2004 Chrysler Sebring?

My car has been running beautifully and all of a sudden the engine light came on today. Any tips or suggestions? Its a 2004 Chrysler Sebring sedan.

It can mean different things on different cars. It probably just isn't running at maximum efficiency. Someone like Midas can check that out for you, if you don't want to take it to a dealer. You can still drive on it though.
