sound when letting out the clutch? The sound only happens through third gear when letting the clutch out and when starting to give it gas after shifting.
My 5 speed does that sometimes, I believe its just a spring, I'm not sure where, but doesn't hurt anything. Check the fluid levels and everything should be ok. Clutches go before springs usually.
That would be your "throw out bearing", if you are doing the work yourself, just go ahead and replace your clutch while you are down there. Just to save you some labor time.
