What would be the reason for the rear wheels on a 1968 VW beetle to be bowed in?

Ok so im working on a 1968 beetle and i pulled the rear end out and put it back in and I did it exactly the way I put it back in but now the rear wheels are bowed in like this \ / and it is just got me puzzled of what I could have maybe done wrong or if it will straighten back out if I drive it down the road. Thanks
