I have tons of writing in Apple II floppy disks, both 5.25 and 3.5 disks and am about to move. I think I should get the files off these disks so that they are not damaged in transport.
Which would be better -- buy an old Apple II printer off ebay and simply print all the files (then I can OCR scan them later) or try to save all the files in ASCII, then get them on 3.5 inch disks (via an Apple IIgs) and THEN drag them over to a Mac with a 3.5" drive that can read said disks and THEN burn them on a CD any computer can read?
