I got the comps 12's and a ZX300.1 mono amp 3yrs ago,I just wanted some bass to blend in with the rest of my components in the car. But now I think I've gotten use to the comps and I need something alittle louder.I would like one 12' or 15' sub I had something in mind, what do you think?

Would a sub and amp that is 500rms make that big a diffrence?

I plan getting ported enclosure just like the Comp 12's in the Kicker enclosure.
I'm interested in the 15' CVR in the Kicker ported enclosure with a monoblock 500rms amp. Would it be louder than my dual comps? I know the Comps are 300rms, but would one single sub do it for me?
