I just need to find out if it's something I could even afford to fix :) What would cause it to wobble and shake and it happens most when I'm driving over 50 mph. If anyone knows what may be causing this, can you also give me a kind of "guesstimate" about what it would cost to fix that problem? Thank You :)

You may very well have a tire out of balance, nothing more. Take it to a tire shop and have 'em all balanced, and see if that does it. If it does, you're only out twenty bucks or so! (Wanna bet that that's it?) I'll bet that does it. If you've run through a lot of mud lately, that'll cause 'em to be out of balance, too. Check the front first, then the back, for air bubbles pushing out of a tire. It'll look ballooned somewhat. Go slow. You don't want to be a spinning tripod of pissed!

loose tie rod, bad cv ball joint. un balanced tire. lower control arm not locked in properly.

You might have a wheel out of balance or a tire with a tread problem. Go to a local tire store and have it checked. If it is the balance problem the cost will be small(under $40). If it is the tire then it will be the cost of a new tire ($100- $150).

There could be several reasons (most of them in the front end.) It doesn't make sense to guess about cost because it's VERY DANGEROUS to drive like that anyway! Have the car checked out by a good mechanic ASAP! Drive to a shop slowly.

tires are outta balance. you can rotate your tires first & see if anything changes. atleast its the 1st step and free.(if U do it yourself). if that fixes it or changes in any way, then atleast u now know its the tires and/or rims and not the brakes or suspension. also look and make sure no mud is built up on the inner side of ur rims. that will make it wobble too.

get your tires balanced....its not alot of money and its a easy fix.....if it still happens then maybe a bent rim

Go straight to a tire store and have your tires and lug nuts
checked, tire may have seperation or someone may have
loosened your lug nuts.better yet find someone who knows
about cars to look at it before you drive again this is an accident
waiting to happen.
