What would be a good introduction for my history essay? (:?

The question is..

"To what extent did the social reforms of the Liberal government (1906 - 1914) improve the lives of the British people?"

I'm sort of stuck on the Intro, I can do the conclusion fine and I have all of the factors for the sick, old, unemployed and young but I am struggling with a good introduction.

Any help? :P Thanks :D
 
bascially, al lyou have to do a restate the question in a different way. then, use what you put in the conclusion. the last sentence of the intro should talk about what you are putting in the body of the paper.

at least thats what my teacher says to do. i also have trouble with introductions.
