...ovelay...what else? I know you need to include a name template/overlay, tease overlay, breaking news graphic, the close graphic, but what else is needed??

See, my school has a news program which I am a part of and things are going to end up all on my shoulders because no one else, this coming school year, is as productive as two of my friends and I. Mostly on my shoulders because I can do everything.

Lately I've been drawing out some designs for a new name template and other stuff

so I need to know what else a graphics package would come with if you bought one off the internet.

Your question is a little tricky to answer. Every TV station has it's own standards, and builds their graphics mostly from scratch. (And people hired to do just that.) They use different programs to do so, as well.

However, the golden rule is this: Make sure you have whatever you need to make your packages and program work. Save your templates, as well, so you can re-use them for consistency.
