What would a country be like without businesses?

A dirt poor third world country where crime is rampant and no one has any hope of the modern conveniences they see on TV's? The wealth of a country is in its businesses. Not its UNIVERSITY'S. As Martin Luther in 1512 said, Parents beware of the university you send you child to. They are the GATES OF H*LL.
