The environment is in a dire situation from global warming, water shortage and pollution. What sacrifices are you making? What actions are you taking?
Here are some of what my family is doing:
We use house plant leaves instead of toilet paper (compost them after use)
We buy all our clothes even underwear from used stores like Goodwill
We use fruit and vegetable juices instead of soaps and cleaners
We don't use deodorant, air fresheners and other such chemicals
We got rid of our cars and walk or bike everywhere
We planted our garden
We have all gone vegan as a family
We are going to start taking one bath for week and using the same water for the whole family
The environment is a spiritual issue - how can it not be?
