What will 'kill' DVD?

I think it will be some sort of vapour that takes up no physical space at all and instead you just sort of waft it around the room in the general direction of a viewing device (a kind of super-high-resolution WS TV set that hangs in space in the middle of your sitting room and can be seen with absolute clarity from every angle). This vapour will hang around in the air until you grow tired of the movie and then evaporate naturally satisfying both the movie studios (and their copyright protectionists) and the environmentalists.

Alternatively, the DVD killer is already here: 700Mb DivX encoded movies downloadable online watchable in WS on your TV in great quality for free. WTF would you pay?

And to the poster who confused the codec DivX with the obsolete time-limited DVD spoiler DIVX: read up before you post your lies.
